what is the worst thing you have done to your hair? i had this BEAUTIFUL long hair up until like the 5th grade. it was past my butt! but i had to be like everyone else and cut it short. im in the tenth grade and its finally starting to grow again...i know that was pointless, but i thought that i should share that with you all...lol

.................. trying to dye it at home blonde. pfft. lol imma never do that gain.

.................. when I was in third grade, I dyed my hair pink with koolaide and my mom didn't know. and I have natural platinum hair, so the pink really showed up! it didn't wash out for a week... lol then, I had never had bangs before, so on an impulse, I decided to get bangs like Hilary Duff's, though mine were thicker. biggest mistake i've ever made when it comes to my hair. it only looked how I wanted on the day I cut it, and then after that, it was just a nightmare...

.................. 1. when i had gorgeous blond hair to my waist in kindergarten and then cut it off to my chin:| 2. got those Hilary Duff bangs too^^^ god was that a bad idea...afterwards I realize "she has a hair stylist!!" 3. dyed my hair too many times, i liked the last colour (a dark chesnut brown) but now im scared to dye it back cause my hairs already fried

.................. cutting my hair really short, turns out if you cut your hair short it makes your face look fat...

.................. cutting my hair into a bob in first grade when it was up to my butt!! bad mistake and i still regret it till this day

.................. I got a perm in the fourth grade. Totally screwed my hair up for years to come.

.................. I've dyed my hair so many times and kill it.... But no matter what color I do it seems to look good, so I don't really have any regrets. :p

.................. It happened last night - I dyed my hair brown and was gonna put highlights in, but the highlights smeared, turned chunky and orange, and I was left with a huge spotted mess. ;]

.................. When I was like 8, I decided I wanted side-swept bangs. Well my bangs were too short, so I just took a lock of hair on each side of my face and cut it. It looked really bad lol.

.................. yeah...this past spring I got my hair cut...BAD IDEA! OMg..I miss my longer/medium length hair...now it's like just now 2 my shoulders...it's ok....but I want my longer hair back...good thing it grows back fast!

And they worst thing was, i did it in 5th grade!!! For 5th grade graduation i looked RETARTED!!

I have pretty golden brown wavy/curly hair, and last year I would blow dry it straight, parted in the middle, and *gag* flipped out (it was shoulder length and layered) every single day!!!! Bad idea. I didn't realize it then but it was all poofy and icky and was still wavy in the back. Oh, I wanted so bad to be "in style" and have the pin straight hair that some girls were lucky enough to have naturally. This year I decided to just stop blowdrying because my hair was getting so damaged, so I got a trim to cut all the icky ends off and let it dry naturally and actually liked it. I haven't done a thing to my hair since (well, I get trims every few months but I haven't touched my blowdryer!) It felt sooooo good to be free! Now I part it to the side and put this spray stuff in it so it doesn't get frizzy, and I let it dry naturally every night. It is so nice to be natural!!! I promise that from now on I will never let my hair get that damaged or ugly ever ever again!!!

.................. Oh my I have so many...well I got a perm in 3rd grade it was hideous ew...what was i thinking....then i had a "boy cut" ew and I actually liked it. I also had my hair dyed brown it turned a coppery color then I redid it and it was the shade I wanted but then I started not liking it....its finally its blonde shade again...thank goodness.

.................. Actually when Hilary Duff had those bangs she styled them herself. I saw her on a special about her and she said she likes to do her bangs herself and doesn't let anyone touch them.

.................. I feel your pain. I made the same mistake. I got it cut really short and spikey in the back w/ the chin length bangs in front, and I loved it....till I tried to style it myself. My hair was just to thick *sigh* I was very dissapointed.

.................. My biggest hair mistake was probably when I would put tonnes of mouuse in my (dry) hair and put it in braids, then go to sleep. In the morning I would take it out and it would be all crispy because I used so much mousse. Oh yeah, did I mention that at that time I also had about 4 inches of dark brown roots with ugly blonde the rest of the way down...a little souvenir from grade five. Ughhh.

.................. i also had really long hair, it was past my butt and then one day i wanted to cut it but not too short, just like a few inches but then my hair stylist told me if i cut off 'just a few' more inches i could donate it to locks of love but it ended up being 14 inches shorter and i was very sad oh well it went to a good cause

I had Really Curly hair, and i loved it! but i really liked it straight because everyone elses hair was straight, anyways, so i got a chemical Relaxer Put in My Hair,and it totally killed my hair,i still have to wait 2 more months before it starts going curly again!:_|:( I want My Curls Back... Oh i Also Let My Friend Cut me bangs..AHH! Bad Choice!!

.................. when the parent trap came out with Lindsay Hohan, I was about 8 and they showed her cutting her "twins" hair and making these two side pieces that are supposed to frame your face and go about mid-cheek length. It was horrible. And cutting the little frizzies in my hair when I was younger because I was so frustrated with them, and they have never grown back.

.................. The summer before 8th grade, there was an ad in the newspaper for some hair show where hairdressers would do your hair for free. You had to tell them what you would let them do and then they decided if they wanted you. They picked me and asked if they could dye my light/medium brown hair strawberry blonde.I was hesitant but I let them. They also gave me blonde highlights and a perm. The strawberry blonde actually turned out red and my perm wasn't that bad because I can blow-dry it straight and I really liked the highlights but my hair hasn't been the same since. It still has a reddish tint to it and I just want my brown hair back!

.................. When I was in the 5th grade, a lot of the older girls were getting really cute, shorter styles. So on a whim, I decided to get a short style too. Biiiiiiig mistake. It looked terrible.

.................. Well, when i wuz like 5 a girl in my class would have these bangs. (She had thin hair, i have thick) and i thought it was cool. She would tie her bangs and all her hair in braids...if i had seen it now it would look dorky, but remember i wuz 5. So i went 2 the bathroom during pre-k and cut them....cept it was SUPER SHORT! It looked like i had had gum in it and tried 2 pull it out or sumthin. Anyways, i had this huge chunk of hair missing there and it took a long time 2 grow it back. It looked horrible! And let's see...in 6th grade my mom thought that i was like 6 i guess and she wanted me 2 get my hair cut short me being the dumb 6th grader decided to tell the stylist that i wanted it in-between my ears and chin. It looked so gross. I looked like i wuz like in first grade. It took like over a whole school year 2 ggrow out.

.................. you kno that movie the parent trap (new one) well the part where lindsay lohan cuts her sisters hair (her own i should say) and cuts bangs..well i loved that movie and i wanted to do it...oh and i did...haha it looked horrible...i thought my mom was gunna kill me.

.................. I had long long blonde hair from grade four until last year, and I always used to wear it in a ponytail. But, since I danced, I was afraid it would fall out... so I plastered it to my head with gel. It looked like I was bald. I hate all of my dance comp pics now...because I had no hair.

.................. giving myself a haircut when i was like in kindergarten...i just these little pieces on the front on my hair totally off, so u can only imagine how they looked when they were growing in..ugh!

.................. i had gorgeous long hair too! and it was really blonde and wavy! i look a pictures of when i was about 11 and I'm like "man, it's gorgeous" but all I did was obsess over having short hair so I cut it. It actually has some nice layers in it now, and I love it. But... I almost did the Hilary Duff bangs (omg, who hasn't) and the hairstylist didn't understand what I meant so she just kind of angled my hair in the front. At first I was mad that I didn't get bangs, but I realized they would make me look like I'm 5. I'm glad she messed up.

I havent done ne thing stupid but wen my sis was in the 3rd grade she decided to cut her bangs, they went from like 3 inches to half an inch if that, lmao! it looked so funni on her! then within the next week the whole class got their pic taken n she has like no bangs, n it was same in her skool pic, omg, so funni!!

.................. i was in third grade and i had beautiful brown straight hair. i wanted to have bangs so i went out and got some, and when they grew longer, they were no longer straight but kind of wavy, and ugly. grrrr!!!

..................highlighting kit at home=bad idea. i had brown hair with blonde streaks....i still do(luckly they r almost gone. i wounldn't recommend the herbal essences stuff

.................. When I was 6 I had the most beautiful LONG blonde hair with ringlets and I let my aunt cut it up to my chin and it never grew back the same =( I am still to this day soooo mad becuase I would've loved having that hair now...

.................. Died my hair permanently jet black, with my light complxion and my natural light hair it looked soo bad! i got it stripped, and now its fried like hell..which sucks.

.................. when i was in like 3rd or 4th grade i wanted to cut little side face framing layers like lindsay lohan does in the parent trap...so i cut them by myself but i thought i cut them too short so i chopped them off to my scalp and had this weird bald spot in the middle of the front of my head....it was awful... but when they finally grew in they actually looked exactly like the ones in the movie lol and i started this whole trend at my school haha....me and my friends would cut our hair in the front all the time (we finally got it down so it looked good when we cut them) good times.... god we were really stupid now that i think about it....

Happened about a month ago.A month prior to this happening I got my haircut.One day I got this urge to have my hair cut again.So I was at my friends and Im like "Hey do you wanna cut my hair?" She said yeah.BAD idea.I got completly screwed up cause it is now un-even and it's pretty noticeable and it's short.

.................. I cut my hair BY MYSELF! Warning: never EVER do that!
